Donna Nassa served the Warwick Public School District in Warwick, Rhode Island, for more than 30 years. She most recently spent nine years working as a guidance counselor within the Warwick public school system, in addition to serving as the department chairperson and a counselor for students between kindergarten and twelfth grade. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Donna Nassa is involved with a number of local organizations, including Providence’s San Miguel School.
Donna Nassa received a master’s degree in special education from Providence College. She continued at Providence College and earned a master’s degree in guidance and counseling. She maintained a 4.0 grade point average over the course of her studies, and upon graduating immediately began working as a counselor at the elementary school level. She again returned to Providence College for a degree in business and marketing, maintaining a 3.5 grade point average over four years of study.
